Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a worldwide designer and manufacturer of underwater vehicles with specialty in subsea trenching, mining and vessel deck equipment. They design very unique products and are looking for capable engineers to join their growing team.
Electronic & Controls Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Development of vehicle electronic sub-systems and products.
- Electronic systems design
- Creation of the technical specifications.
- Validation throughout the design process, testing, and final verification.
Electronic & Control Engineer Key Requirements:
Experience and knowledge of the following:
- Microprocessors and digital electronics
- Interfacing to sensors and systems
- Communication standards (RS232,485, I2C, Ethernet, MODBUS etc.)
- Fault finding at component and board level.
- Use of test equipment (meters, scopes, data capture)
- Soldering and wire assembly.
- Experience in either AutoCAD, Inventor (3D), Altium.
