As Financial Accountant, you will take full ownership of entity accounting processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work across diverse accounting activities and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Entity Ownership: Manage financial accounting processes for assigned legal entities.
- Month-End Reporting: Prepare journal entries, review financial statements, and reconcile cashflows and balance sheets.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Prepare VAT and Intrastat external requirements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS controls.
- Coordinate external audits and maintain readiness for audit reviews.
- Process Improvement: Lead and participate in team projects to enhance efficiency, deliver cost savings, and ensure compliance improvements.
- Team Collaboration: Provide guidance and leadership to Assistant Financial Accountants to ensure exceptional service and compliance.
About you:
- A professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in a process or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and proven experience in financial accounting and compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills.
- Critical thinking, time management, and the ability to innovate and improve processes.
