Interim Finance ERP Specialist
Location: Newcastle/Remote (Short-Term Contract)
Jackson Hogg are recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a fantastic business based in Newcastle. This is a short-term interim position created to support a recent acquisition and the merger of two systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance transformation and ERP implementation, with a specific focus on Xero and related systems.
This role is essential for ensuring a smooth integration of financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the merger of financial systems following the acquisition, ensuring smooth data migration and integration.
- Optimize and configure Xero or similar ERP systems to align with the newly formed business structure.
- Manage the finance transformation process, driving efficiencies in financial reporting, accounting practices, and overall system functionality.
- Oversee project management, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met during the merger and system integration.
- Perform data analysis and develop detailed financial reports to support strategic business decisions.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in Finance Transformation & ERP Implementation: Demonstrated experience in leading or participating in finance transformation initiatives, including ERP system implementation and optimisation.
- Expertise in Xero & ERP Systems: Proven hands-on experience with Xero or similar ERP platforms, with the ability to handle the full lifecycle of ERP projects—from planning to execution and support.
- Strong Project Management Skills: Skilled in managing complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets while mitigating risks.
- Finance & Accounting Knowledge: In-depth understanding of finance and accounting processes, with the ability to apply best practices to streamline operations and improve financial outcomes.
- Xero Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Xero, including data migration, system configuration, and customization to meet specific business needs.
- Data Analysis & Financial Reporting: Strong data analysis capabilities, with the ability to generate insightful financial reports and support decision-making through data-driven analysis.
